30th anniversary signals growth for Stagecraft
2015 is a big year for Stagecraft, one of the UK’s leading designers and manufacturers of shop fittings and retail merchandising systems, as it celebrates its 30th anniversary.
The year has already started well as it prepares to expand its site in Newtown, Powys. Stagecraft has now leased additional land next to its headquarters 50 x 25 metres in size
The company, which specialises in retail display systems for the garden and horticultural sector, will use the land to cater for new orders for its range of products.
Mark Williams, Business Development Manager says “We’re excited at the year ahead, building on the growth of the past 12 months and celebrating 30 years of business here in Mid Wales,”
“The additional land allows us to expand our storage on site after increasing production and capacity within the main unit which we moved into in 2013.
“We’re looking forward to working with existing customers and welcoming new ones over the next few months as we develop our product offering to the retail sector.”
He added: “The garden and horticulture retail sector is thriving in the UK, with consumers looking to spend and invest on their gardens and retailers needing to be able to display their products in the best possible way.
“At Stagecraft we work closely with our clients, from national blue chip companies to smaller independent retailers and garden centres, to ensure we support their needs and requirements.
“We’re constantly developing new ideas for products and 2015 as our 30th year in business is going to be an exciting time for all involved with Stagecraft.”
Last year the company created 10 new jobs and now has 35 people working at its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Mid Wales, close to where it was established by the late Tom Davis 30 years ago.
